PG to release “NaMwari” gospel album


Rising gospel chantier, who hails from Mkoba 13 Preciousgift Chauke porpulary known as PG is set to release her first album, titled ”Namwari’ amid high expectations that the offering will propel the artist to dizzy heights.
Born in Bulawayo then later on moved to Gweru were PG says got her inspiration and initiation into the music industry from and before going professional Chauke started her music journey back in 2010 at Mkoba 3 High where she was in the school choir.
“My school choir teacher is the one who molded my gift to an extent of me finding myself doing music in a serious manner “, PG said.
Namwari’ a six tracked album which comprises of songs such as open doors, keep talking and namwari just to mention a few.
“I started recording in 2010 and ‘namwari’ is my first album though I once tried to work on a long playlist and it did not work out then continued with releasing singles”, she said
In an interview with PG where she explained to this publication that the album title speak for itself on what its all about that is Godly centred.
PG says she is very confident that ‘Namwari album’ will be her break through after putting more efforts compared to her previous projects so far the Mkoba 13 based gospel artist leaked ‘keep talking’ which have been accepted by the Midlands community as it is receiving airplay.
“So far i have released keep talking and a lot of people are loving it, im very sure that this album will boost my fan base as this is what a lot of people have been waiting for”, said PG.
Preciousgift has been working as a backing vocalist for other artist in the Midlands such as Farai the great where the enchanted managed to a track together ‘kun’anga’ which has gone viral on international television channels 1G, Trace urban, channel O and PG is working on securing collaborations with Gweru’s finest icon living man souljah and Shingirirai.
Like everyone else out there the countrys economic situation is todays number one poroblem of every Zimbabwean and besides this PG says she is facing financial problems in printing her compact discs.
